Camponotus maculatus subnudus is rare and relatively small Camponotus species from Asia. They are characterized by beautiful coloration. It is easy to maintain and fast growing species. These ants doesn’t need hibernation, so it won’t cause any problems for beginner ant keepers. In nature, the colony can reach a several thousands of workers. Quite active and not very aggressive species. They build their nests in soil in meadows and forests.
