Camponotus Nicobarensis Ant Colony
128,00 zł – 214,00 zł
Camponotus nicobarensis is a fairly large species of the genus Camponotus and is characterized by a relatively fast development. Therefore, it is very suitable for beginner antkeepers.
There is a clear polymorphism in this species, which, combined with a beautiful reddish-brown color and quite mild disposition, made this species one of the most popular in ant keeping. In addition, it does not require hibernation and is active all year round, which makes observation much easier. In the wild, it lives in the semi-deserts and steppes of Southeast Asia. It nests in the soil, in rotting wood and bamboo stalks. It eagerly eats insects, but also honey and fruit.
Due to the fact that our products are handmade, the nest you will receive may vary from the ones displayed in the picture.
